Orange peel.

In winter we eat lots of oranges and this is also the time when I make lots of orange peel. All you do is soak it for day or two, changing water often, then you boil it slowly in water and sugar until the peel is shiny, cut it in little pieces, I even use the remaining syrup as a extract for cakes.









 I made orange tea towels for my Mom to go with little jars of peel and syrup.
